Book Signing: Mitch Motivates

Join motivational speaker and author Mitch Motivates in the shop as he signs his new book My Addiction, My Superpower.

About the Book

In 2006, one week shy of his nineteenth birthday, Mitch found himself in rehab for drug addiction. In a short period of time, his substance abuse spiraled out of control until he ran away from home, and his family filed a missing person’s report with the police. A week after he was found, he spent a total of eight months in treatment.

After spending nearly four years recovering in rehab, halfway houses, and collegiate recovery programs, he moved to New York and made something special of his life.

In My Addiction, My Superpower, Mitch shares his recovery journey in detail, in which he reveals the lessons he learned and breaks them down into twelve easy tips for anyone who has been impacted by addiction, mental health, or substance abuse .

About the Author

Mitch started Mitch Motivates after noticing the need for experienced, independent experts in the recovery community. He has been in recovery since 2006 when he was only nineteen years old, and has been in recovery for over seventeen years. He has committed great lengths of time to his work in recovery and has gained an expert level of knowledge and leadership in doing so.

Mitch is the chief operations officer and chief motivator for Neinstein Plastic Surgery where he works with his mentor and world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Ryan Neinstein. Mitch has been in the New York Times for owning his own home, the New York Post for sober dating, and countless podcasts sharing his recovery story. He is about to run his seventh marathon for the Release Recovery Foundation. Mitch spends his free time living in and exploring New York City with his family, working out at a fitness studio, or playing with his Goldendoodle Mazel (like Tov).
