About the Book

About the Author

Gina has been writing songs since childhood, sitting at her grandparents’ upright piano. Music became a way to for her to walk through life, to express herself, and to find her voice. She became a Music Therapist, working with children with special needs, adolescents, women with eating disorders, and working in Hospice. Gina has witnessed the heart opening that music creates, and the power to express and heal, and bring together. She pours that into her songwriting for children and families and into her classes. Gina’s classes offer to bring a smile, celebrate being alive, feeling all your feelings, being open to connect with each other, and finding the heart in the middle of it all. Her music community is something she is so honored to be a part of. Gina says, “Music brings people together. It is a way to love. And I love loving my music community.” She uses her music to create a space, for young people and their caregivers, to feel loved and to feel connected.
