The Philadelphia Bookstore Crawl is a yearly (at least, that’s the plan!) celebration of Philadelphia’s wildly vibrant and wonderful bookstore scene, the last Saturday of every August.

This year’s will take place on Saturday, August 26th.

The concept is simple. On the date of the crawl, at the end of the summer, participating bookstores around town are hosting unique and special events. Discounted books? Exciting giveaways? In-store author signings? You’ll see!

There’s no specific trail to follow. No route. Just a bundle of bookshops around town, all doing something special on one given day. Though who knows. Maybe in future years we’ll have a trolley. *wink*
